I'm a writer, researcher and strategist with 15+ years of experience helping groups of people discover their authentic identity, shift the story they're living for the better, and communicate to those they wish to reach.
Depending on the organization or community, this work can take a lot of shapes. Maybe it's the creation of a website. Maybe it's a new or refreshed brand. Maybe it's a communications riddle: how to inspire your audiences to see something differently or take a particular action. Maybe it's organizational change—who are we really, and how can we bring all our voices together to collectively understand our purpose, address what's not working, and move toward our goals?
Send me a note, and we'll set up a time to talk.*

A faith community needed to find its next leader. That is, they needed to understand who they are as a community (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and all) and articulate this to prospective candidates. Using qualitative and quantitative methods over a period of four months, I lead a team of community members to do just that—while also reaffirming their collective vision, story, and authentic, lived identity.
A museum wanted to make educational experiences available to children and families not just locally, but throughout the state of Oregon. With that in mind, it set out to develop a new traveling exhibit, available on loan to rural Oregon public libraries, exploring Indigenous STEM innovations past and present. In collaboration with the outreach coordinator, I researched the project; strategized the program outline; consulted with Tribes on program topics, learning goals, and delivery; and developed program content.
